I was born in British Columbia but have lived most of my life in Ontario. In 2017 I moved to a small village in BC, my first experience at rural life. I spend most of my time in my studio or traveling.
StatementDefined by my affinity for abstraction, my recent artistic shift explores three-dimensional pieces through soft sculpture. These delicate structures, born from thread, wire and fibers, add a tactile dimension, inviting viewers to get up close and explore. Each piece tells a unique story, blurring the lines between traditional craft and contemporary art. The entire process feels like a moving meditation, focusing our thoughts and hands on a practice that has spanned centuries.
